If I was going that way regularly, I'd probably head down Birchfields/Anson/Upper Brook St into town, very few buses on that route, and no probs with cars trying to park/pull out in the curry mile.

+1. isn't oxford rd the busiest road in europe for buses? i hate it, its a death strip. use above routes instead.

aww they looked so cute together yesterday when i saw them, glad some parents still make an effort to share a common interest with their children

p.s. Oxford Road is awesome, more cars the better. ZOOOOM.

Upper Brook ftw

Rusholme is sprint training land, just ride it like it's last orders! Upper brook is fine but less visually stimulating. Finglands are the worst that I have found, most of the Stagecoach drivers are fairly decent. An Ex GF of mine trained to be a driver with them a few years back and always joked that if she failed with them that she could always work for UK North, they were without doubt the worst bus company in the area.

One to watch at the moment is Levy, all the works near the now burnt out Tesco are eating lanes and forcing buses to stop in the middle of the road (Levenshulme drivers are to thick to realise what the cones and no parking signs are for!) so just be carefull if you cut up the inside, they just don't have any option at the moment.

I tell's you what though - Car drivers are fucking nonces too - just had a massive bust up with some daft fucker who almost clobbered a lad who lives near me about 100 yards in front of me on a bend then stoppped his car and started on him - donlt think he knew what hit him when I came skidding in.

Never met the lad before - dont think he's on here... blue frame with an Antqueil sticker... any takers? He did say he'd only had it three days.
