WTF is up with all this health and safety crap in the UK?

Health and Safety law is what stops workers getting fucked in the arse.

Health and Safety gone mad is companies protecting themselves from an over-litigious legal system.

True Dat. Get your arse out into industry; say shipyards, mines, foundries etc. This is where H&S makes a difference, as in saving peoples lives. The same old boys who talk about 'just getting the job done' will also be able to regale you with plenty of stories involving death, paralysis, amputation etc.

Yeah, the shit we see in our daily benign lives is annoying but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. That may lead to death or serious injury to the infant along with creating a slipping hazard.
