Never, ever use Ti BB spindles.
I've seen several people with serious injuries on their calfs because of failing BB spindles, especially Ti ones.
Forget about lightweight in the first place.
Certainly on track, fixie and SS it doesn't matter at all.
If you want lightweight, there are better ways, e.g. oversized steel spindles. Better and lighter than Ti.
