Re Moser (A): Would you take £100 per month for 6months and house it for me so the missus doesn't find out about it? No? Worth a try... :)

OK, £10 off the asking price of each to keep the interest going... I would almost consider instalments but housing it? No chance! Small flat +8 bikes (not all mine)+kid's bikes (about 4 assorted)=serious congestion already!

come on wools, buy it and come to the ride on tuesday!
For sale, the results so far of my quest for a perfect retro geared bike. The Moser Special 'A' is stunning and all appears to be brand new - all Campag Record, even the pedals (not the clips). Columbus Speciali tubing, Campag Lambda clincher rims (new) on Record hubs, 7 speed Synchro. Cinelli bars and stem. But when it arrived, size failure.
So, plan 'B' was a second Moser, also Columbus Speciali tubing, very nice flat crown fork, bit more of a mix of componentry - Campag gears, Ofmega cranks, Universal brakes, Mavic sprints on Gipiemme hubs. I was going to swap all the Record onto this one, but after being lost in space for 4 weeks, it turned up and... too big. Gutted, and lost interest now, just want to get space and money back.
The 'new' A one is worth it just for the components but I would really like to see someone enjoy it as a complete bike, sentimental fool that I am, so here's a chance for the smaller rider or unscrupulous asset stripper, just don't tell me. The bigger 'B' one I would consider splitting if enough interest, very nice frameset, panto'd 3TTT stem, the colour is actually really rich, verging on dark pink, but overwhelmed the digital camera.
Moser Special (A), 53cm x 54cm, all Campag, even the pump is panto'd Moser! £585
Near new/perfect, only defects are the flakey decals, slight splits in hoods, pedals and straps not new and a bit worn.

Moser (B), 56cm x 56cm, £375
Few chips - largest behind RH shift lever, a scrape on inside of left fork leg. Needs new tubs, current ones only serve to keep rims off floor! Hoods persished. Rusty toe clips. But, bonus points for headset that is actually branded Francesco Moser but looks like Campag.
