If Marcus doesn't take it can I? Missus wants to get out and about on a bike but just doesn't have the confidence. This'd be perfect.

can do pics by sending me an e-mail address.
So far its a toss up between Marcus and Squash- at present I like the idea of Marcus getting his woman on it, but....delivery/pick up is a key point for me after this week.

ok some peeps want it, that's great, but it needs to go to someone who can afford to build it back to a rideable state soon and use, its no use as a project to do whenever, and the person can ideally assist in some way with transport- eg I can take it to Westies this Turdsday and can take it off me (unless Prav can store it there for A N Other to pick up another day).
My Co car goes back in to the resale lot on Friday, and I don't have a roof rack/bars for the Pishat I'm going to use temporarily, and I live in Harefield ie beyond Uxbridge.
zero 7737 zero 68884 will get me to discuss arrangements.
BTW there's both TA chainsets (right hand drive though, not ideal, but can have double on the back, needs a smaller middle TA six bolt ring though really) and gear mechs and chains too. It will need 57mm dual pivot calipers.
Sorry- at present I don't have time to take pics, work is manic- it looks fine, its murky grey with Bikewise stickers in white, its not rusty.
Now its not quite as good an offer as you might be thinking, but it may do somebody a favour-
Originally two road frames (standard 1" forks) brazed/welded together by someone who ought to have known better, correct bottom bracket in the front (you can have the excentric bb shell if desired), straight and true as far as I know.
Seat post fixing is by a bolt being driven into the post through the tapped hole in the frame. The seat posts only go a limited distance into the frame, but ample for safety, front I think 26.8, rear was 27- there is a short rear seat post with it if desired.
The chain stays & ends are "soft" where I believe the heat of brazing has affected the metal strength.
Have no fear it works- it was used for very quick time trialling by the prevous owner and his partner, it was used very recently by our very own forumite Stelle and partner, for her video making, and she was delighted with it.
If someone wants to play for hours, and have some fun riding it, then please be my guest. It may be a way of getting the woman in your life out on a bike and know exactly where she is (mind you, you might not know if she's working though....).
Some transport available. PM if interested.
(I have two other tandems that I was given, so this one is really, really excessive, and just not to my liking or required standard)
ps - if nobody wants it, the next journey it makes is to the dump, the dump, the dump, dump, dump, dump..........
