dude there's also a south african butcher's in putney, at the bottom of dover house road called snoggy's. i have heard many good things about that place!

No idea what the deal is here but if there is one thing I can do its a large (and I mean large) BBQ. Usually do 3-400 meals at a time so I'll happily BBQ the night away - just say the word and bring it on.

huge16, your offer is appreciated and may actually come in handy, last time the coach put on one of their chefs to charbroil the meats, so they may do so again, if not your first in line.
As much as I love standing round a barbie discussing hotspots, not sure I have enough indepth burning experience to do this sort of thing...

@jaygee - there is a superb butcher on Leopold Road in Wimbledon who cater for South African bbqs. I'm sure they can get you all the meat you desire.

P.S. I can't attend as I'll be riding the Etape on the morning of the 20th.
