Try this one for Bletchley to the Stones. About 10mi shorter than Slag's route and far less dicking about on the A34.
Cheers TSK. This is very close to one I was trying to work out... 90 miles for the win. Worth avoiding the A34(M) Newbury area by crossing the M4 into Hungerford.
We might end up going slightly different than this route if we start at Stony Stratford, where we might be getting fed before we set off (my mum's). But essentially this is the way I want to go ... MK >Aylesbury (or Winslow) >Thame >Didcot >Hungerford >Tidworth >Amesbury.
Yes Oliver, slow is good for me. Even though I will be using gears. Means leaving even earlier like Em suggests might help! Though he might have to leave us and put the hammer down if he's in a hurry to get back to London.
Just broke the news at home that I'm doing this. Cue not a very happy Mrs Skully.
I have a murmour we might even be five people. I'll let them say for sure when they've decided ;). But small is definitley beautiful: three, four, five or six, say.
