thanks so much to everyone who came - braving rain, lightning bolts, long train rides and an inevitable hangover - to hang out with me in my last hours in your wonderful city! also thanks to everyone i have met this whole year, whether you were able to make it yesterday or not - you guys have made this time in london the best it could have possibly been ..... to think when i got here i didn't know a single person or how to change a puncture. i might tear up as i type this. i will miss you all sooooooo sososososososo much.

neil and fenella - you guys are beyond awesome. thank you SO MUCH for letting us crash your gorgeous flat.

i took a bunch of pictures but i have ten zillion things to do in the next 24 hours so i'll get 'em up in a day or two.

I must just reiterate the thanks people have been saying to Neil and Fenella for putting up with the raucous, drunken, loud, but helpful crew we are. Its fair to say that your generosity, patience, and willingness to have as many of us as there were in your lovely flat, and on your lovely roof, made the whole event special, we couldn't have sent Kattt off without you. Next time your at south's western or eastern division, your first drink is on me...

So its goodbye to kitty kattt, its been real, superawesome, having you over here, so excited about everything...
We'll all miss you and I'm pretty sure people will be heading over to see you either in berlin or the states.

For the evening, what can I say, riding behind fest on the way home was an experience, as was clefty's car light which scared the bejesus out of me. Catching joke on the roof, huddling under the umbrella when the skies opened, being given one last unopened bottle of pear cider, jimbilly's impromptu shorts down moment, and the glorious sharing of the merrydown cider, seeing happy smiling faces wherever i was, and trying not to watch gerald and hazel attempting a scottish reel on wet wooden decking...

Bright Times indeed.

Holy crap! What a night! I feel like I have hot nails in my head this morning. It was a very slow slow, journey home. We will miss you Tons Kattt, but this is not the end though.

Thanks to Fenella and Neil for letting us Crash in your spare room. As far as I can remember we went to sleep peacefully and didn't break anything in the house? Thanks Charco for the offer of your floor to crash on, We were completely wasted beyond repair when we finally went to sleep, So it was better we just stayed put at the party. Really great night.

More thank yous to the stupendous hosts. That bed was the most comfortable I've ever passed out on! The food, people and yes, even the weather were awesome. It was wicked to chat with people under those umbrellas!
