That was a laugh.
Went to the wrong meeting place, set off an hour late. Randomly caught up with the group in epping when I saw a tesco and thought of sugary snacks then spotted a gaggle of bikes.
Cheers to Cornelius, for being Cornelius.
Cheers to Tristan and James for putting the hurt on in the last 20 miles or so.See y'all soon.
Joe.
ps....I'm sure I have trench foot.

That sprint in the end was quite some pace, a good 20+ mph average. Killed me like fuck, nice to keep up with the geared bikes though.
Thanks for coming dudes and hope you enjoyed the event (nocturne?) back in the one and only.
peace.

Plagiarist, Hillbilly & Greasy - you guys rule.
was a real pleasure to ride with you today, sorry my tired legs kept holding you back.
Once I'm up to full strength we'll have to do more of these.and what great entertainment that group of girlies celebrating a birthday provided - Flashing of both ass & boobs, a declaration of love for Greasy, a marriage proposal from Em and then they left their cake for us to finish… Awesome!

Not forgetting ***The ***Ford. it had it all!
Great ride Chapouxs, good times Slamm, a well over due beer. Fantastic recovery; Venison.. its the only way!
I'm of to get a speedometer to staple to Ems head and a giga meter to measure Jims blood sugar level.
Next stop has to be the seaside.. what do you reckon?

I had a great day, thanks guys and gal! Sorry I was a bit aloof today, not enough sleep last night and trying to keep up with you lot is hard work :)
A HUGE thank to Corny! You are just amazing. The bike tetris you did and undid on the train was quite something (and buying all the train tickets). You really think of everything! You are a rider and a gentleman, an asset to the forum and it is a privilege to ride with you. Big hugs x

Yeah, word to all the dashing gents and girls who did it fixed...
It was my first long ride this year and I had a great time. Almost didn't make it after getting a puncture on the way to the meeting point...cue much cursing and greasiness in the pissing rain while i swapped out the tube on the rear tyre, and me arriving at HPC literally in the nick of time...
Once we got out the big smoke the weather cleared up and it really was a lovely ride. Cruising at a comfortable speed, enjoying the scenery and the company and some nice stops on the way. Was a pleasure riding and hanging out with everyone - big thanks to Corny "I'm not the leader" Blackfoot for posting this up in the first place...and for awesome bike stacking skills on the train back to London!
s'only gonna be wet for the first hour...
see the rest of you v.soon
