Wanted: Olmo/Gios/Pinarello frame 56cm

Posted on
  • As above, I'm looking for a frame from one of these makers.

Not looking for anything too posh, this is for Son-of-Pimperella.

Olmo or Gios ideally, but anything interesting considered in 56cm square or thereabouts, suitable for conversion. Might be interested in a complete bike (road or track).

    Cheers,

    K.

  • I've a Gios cross frame that would be about the right size. I can't remember if the rear dropouts are suitable for conversion though. It also has cantilever brake braze ons.

Cheers Andy, but I think it's a road frame I'm after.

  • budget?

    Flexible, for the right frame.

I hope to keep to my £150 budget, though.

Obviously more for a complete bike, but all the ones I've seen have tubs and I can't afford more wheels.

  • my fully built ribble!

  • Am looking at a few Olmos, what is a good price for fully built road bike in good condition? About £250?

  • not sure if your still looking but i've got a olmo around if your still looking i'll double check the measurements when i get in.
the BB is being very stuborn and not wanting to come out at the moment but i'm sure some "gentle" persuasion (blow tourch and lots of lube) it will come out. i've given it a 10minute shot at getting out but dont really have the inclination to do much more at the moment.

  • Easy Noorkoiv, eventually went with a different bike but cheers anyway...

  • cool no worries i'll keep searching for a new home for it....
