  • Hi, but I thought you were a geezer though.....posting in the Football Thread like that and confusing me with your Celtic/Moyes posts, how dare you!? ;-)

    Nice frame btw :-)

  • lovely bike julia

  • Cheers guys!

Sorry, pistinator, I will trundle back to the food thread asap :D

  • :-)

The Football Thread is open to all as long as it's guests are Pro Everton and everything about the club, anti Liverpool, anti 'Sky 4', *support the team of their birth and have actually been to watch their team play...

*the last requirement is severely lacking for 95% of the glory hunting posters! :-)

  • update...

    Nice bike (LeveL)

Langster (although now minus aerospoke and yellow saddle, with a new seatpost, pedals, rear tyre and replacement airwings... so basically this picture is a waste of time)

    Me (playing a D-major)

  • Are you in a squat?! :-$

  • no, why do you say that?

  • It looks very bare. Or is that the 'minimal look'?

  • he's a stoodent, can't afford furnature or soft furnishings

  • The 3rd picture is a studio at college! As it's the end of the year, there's nothing happening, hence why it looks so empty.

My flat is actually chock full of shit. I chose the two emptiest corners of the living room for those 2 pictures.

  • phew!

    Hideous bar angle fail

  • Hideous bar angle fail

    crank colour fail

  • My Pista frame cracked so Condor replaced it on warranty.. which was cool but it's the 09 frame rather than 08... I don't think I like it as much

not a lot I can do about it though really?

  • it is kind of stupid that someone would spend so much on stuff like king headset, phil hubs....for around 1400£.? and then ride flat pedals. just smacks of too much money and no sense. but each to their own really. nice bike indeed

yep i kind of agree with you on that comment - i was looking at the white one today and thinking 'i like it but there is something wrongt with the design'....but still solid black and red style so ok but SOOOO far away from the Lavoro.

it's my winter hack so it's not a big deal I guess, might have to pimp the chain to take attention away from the details

  • ^ I picked up one of those Mars Bar bikes from ebay the other day for a song.

I tell you I reckon is "wrong" with it. For starters those decals are pants and then geometry which is not really "pista".

Its fucking light for a steel frame though!

  • This is mine, frame built by Charlie who used to be the builder for Henry Burton Cycles of Stafford

Track ends and a gear hanger. First post for me, will be checking in with the Brum section as they are my nearest.

  • nice ride, but why do the dropouts look so short?!

  • It wasn't originaly meant to be used as a fixed gear, Charlie built it as a TT bike, to get a rear triangle that was nice and close clearance wise he would braze a short track end on instead of drop out. It works because you have the same length steel chain stay as any other road bike which makes it a bit more forgiving but you have the wheel further forward to let you put the power down.

    pimped chains = unipack
