TBH I think I might have to put a gatorskin on the front soon as my rear rando is running out and I'm gonna want the one on the front for the back and the only other tyre I have at home for the front is a gatorskin.Then again I could order another randonneur for the front, but I think I might try it your way for a bit

always been curious about this bike. I've been on a Mark V as my work horse for nearly 5 years and it's been great. From what i understand this is a step or two up? Like a legitimate tube set and such right?
Not sure what the Mark V tubing is but the Angus is made from Reynolds 631.
The only differences as far as I can make out are that that Mark V's come with threadless forks and the Angus's are threaded, Mark V's have the front and back drilled for brakes whereas the Angus only has the forks drilled and lastly the Mark V has cable stops and the Angus is sans cable stops.
