That's what I originally believed too Delta, but i'm not 100% sure. I bought an '05 Concept Pista earlier in the year after waiting for ages to see if the 09 model was coming out. Here's the info i got from BiKyle:
New for 2009, the D2 Super Pista is a cutting edge design for serious track racing. Handmade in Treviglio, Italy. Oversized double-butted 7005 aluminum tubing with "MegaPro" elliptical top tube and down tube with oversized chainstays for excellent jump. The rear dropouts have replaceable stainless steel inserts for better wheel grip. Includes frame, straight bladed carbon fiber fork with aluminum steerer, and 1 1/8" integrated headset. Requires English threaded bottom bracket. Color is celeste green. *This frameset IS drilled for a front brake. Sorry, all white Pista Concept frames have sold out and no more will be coming.
The last sentence was explained to me that no retailers in the US would be getting any of the original Concept Pistas.... I've no idea what is going on?
