It comes standard with several low end Shimano (and other?) rear mechs, but since most frames have a derailleur hanger integrated with the dropout, they screw it off and put it somewhere in a drawer.
And if they stock it as a spare part, it won't cost you a fortune. -

Go find a rubbish abandoned broken cheap bike, most likely youll find one right there.
I'm looking for an adaptor claw to fit a rear derailleur
