South London hills

I thought about that but whichever way you go to the common there's a nasty hill. John Wilson Street into Academy Road and then left onto Shooters Hill seemed best to me. Do you know a better way?

To avoid Shooters Hill, I would go down Nightingale Place into Plumstead Common Road, right into Kirkham Street, right again into Swingate Lane and then Glenmore Road up to Welling. Easy peasy :)
Nightingale Place is the only 'real' hill on that route but is fairly short by comparrison to Shooters Hill.
