South London hills

Ha ! tell me about it :) 5 days a week - but I saw someone coming up Shootershill this morning who I've not seen for a while - an elderly woman on a 'sensible' bike (basket up front) really struggling up the hill- she probably does this every day and has done for years - brilliant!

If that lady you spotted looks like she just came out of the bike shop, ie brand new flouro gear, looks to be somewhere about 60 with grey hair, I see her every morning somewhere between the old water tower on the Brook site and Blackheath Standard and did spot her once on her way up the hill when I was a bit late (I usually go over the Hill at 6.30). I swear she never gets over 5mph. I've only been spotting her this year although I've been using that stretch of road for many more. Got to say I really, really admire her and may 'steal' a snap for the chics on bikes thread ;)
