Source for cheap but decent inner tubes

Anyone know where I can pick up a largish quantity of long valve 700C X 23 inner tubes for cheap as chipness?

If 25 is too many, you won't have trouble shifting them... I sure didn't...

I was going to suggest exactly the same thing. 4 for a tenner is bargaintastic.

I asked the guy on the stall how he could sell them so cheaply and basically he buys 1000 at a time to get bulk discount. I'm sure he'd be able to sort you out if you asked nicely.

Although I'm sure that some are okay, in my experience, cheap tubes are generally a false economy. They perish, split and the valves tend to break too easily. These days, I buy Specialized or other good quality tubes and repair them when they puncture.

You do repair your punctured tubes, don't you?

I got ten Conti Race 28s from Parkers for £25 shipped IIRC. Might be a gnats more for long valve but I got fed up with all the central shops selling Specialized tubes (which have repeated failed catastrophically for me at the valve stem joint - a scary fast puncture and renders the tube unfixable) for a fiver a throw.

If you find yourself in need of a decent tube in the middle of town, Velorution do contis for a fiver.

Halfords tubes are 4.99 but they do buy two, get three so they work out to be 3.33 each
