This is my whip mid ride, It is fixed and yes it has a rear brake as i dont fancy those brake studs in the leg.
It is so good and fast offroad, keeps up with the best of the local mtbs (not on the downhills mind) -

stunning countrybiker. i love it.
what tyres are they? reccomended or not?
-

I took my polo bike offroad (trough the woods, dirt and flint tracks, a few bumpy bits down some hills) last night and it was so much fun. Chunkier tyres would have been a big advantage though, that bike looks like such a blast to ride countrybiker.

The tyres are racing ralphs and after spending the last 4 months on 23cc road tyres on my last bike they are amazing, Grip really well and at 35cc they take the beats.
But they are slow on the road and its a bit harder to skid (something that I need to do quite a bit)
As for the bike it looks so nice that I leave it at work so I can look it at and ride it to the store and to the loos! -

This is all to aid in the building of a certain bike.Rear wheel is a alex at400 on a no name sealed hub brought of someone on the forum for a tenner and the front is a decatalon radial wheel that matches up quite well, I'll put some more photos on later if you intrested in it.

You didn't happen to be getting off the train at Swindon yesterday? I saw a very similar looking bike in the guards van as I was heading over to Gloucester. If it was you, I was the guy with the Tricross waiting for you to lift your bike off the the floor of the guards van so I could park mine.

New boy to 'fixed' here - been lurking for a while, but this is my custom build.... it's bike number 4, the others have gears...... This is my daily work horse. 70" and 74" inch gears (tis rather hilly where I live)....

My bike du jour, and face du, um, ever.
My main/other bike is a 1961 Flying Scot, and is in bits at the moment, as he needs re-painting. The rust has finally made me feel guilty enough. I will post a pic one day, but to be honest I dunno if I could take the inevitable criticisms on that one: I love
himthat bike to an unhealthy degree :)But anyway. Apologies for the pink bar-tape. Ah, fuck it, no, I like it.
Do your worst :)
Max 72! Just finished this.
Similar but not the same.
