Can't believe this thread is still going. The week before this one I was down with fever and shivers, bad flu symptoms, the lot. On the 'last day' of my flu, I started to go stir crazy, and went for a ride no matter what. Managed to cycle around for 3 hours, while forgetting to eat and drink. Went up Tulse Hill, and felt REALLY shaky. I guess that was all of it at once: Flu, lack of carbs, lack of water, lack of training ...
Two days after I managed to click out my back, hence no riding since then. But that's another story ...
EDIT: Next week, if I can ride again, I'll make myself suffer a lot :)
