You could get to your local drinks meet thing in london (if London is where you bide) and swing a leg over consenting owners bikes to get an idea of what size would suit you. I have a conversion and it is 59cm, a bit big seeing I too am 5 10 but, I am comfortable on it. Saying that, my current project has been a smaller frame at 57cm.
You'll get to chat to like minded folk at the drinks too that are happy to talk bikes all night, Im sure.
Bob Jackson have quite a long waiting list so scour the classifieds for one your size if you are desperate to get on one asap. Bob's are the bees knees!
I feel the best way though is to build you own. You will learn shitloads about bikes in the process and will be left with a bike that is truly unique and your own. It can take a while if you are still learning about sizes etc.
The soma rush getting plugged are nice frames too. Solid bikes.

Hippy you crack me up haha!
Mate if you have that much cash to splash you could even get something custom fitted, I think you're gonna be wanting a 55-56cm frame approximately for your height, alternatively look for a nice second hand build on here, you'll get something pretty damn pimping for that amount of cash if you're happy to go second hand, and you'll enjoy much better value for money.

I heard someone might have a nice Soma going that might interest you.....?

Just a rumour mind.

In fact I think you can read about this famous Soma from Londons Famous London, owned by Londons famous Hippy from Londons Famous London (the snobby west part):
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread20617.html
P.S. Hippy i'll do 8%, sexual favours, and as much midget porn as any human/hippy can handle.

You drive a hard bargain.
You'll get 80%, not a micron more not a smidge less.
-
• #49
In all seriousness (on this forum?!) the soma which the antipodean midget molester is vending would be bang on in terms of size and price.

oneforsorrow, apologies as my little rant was not directed solely at you, sure your a nice chap, but almost this exact thread has been started 4 or 5 times in the last week.
If you buy a track frame remmebrr you need is slightly shorter seat tube as the bottom braket is higher on track frames.
Hoppys frame could be a good bet, he's not as fat as is widely reported on the forum, and last time I saw it it is in excellent nick and is genuinly worth a look for your height.
It would leave a good chunk of your money for a decent wheelset, bb and crankset and the rest (saddle, stem, handle bars, stem, pedals and brake) can be picked up for peanuts on here or the bay while you decide what is right for you.
Special price for forum members :) Only £220!!!! What a bargain!
You couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else, not even ebay!
