But I work shifts and probably won't get to see it before the weekend by which time it may be gone.

No worries, if you can be bothered to sift through the endless unipacks and other assorted rubbish and blatantly stolen mtb's theres good stuff on gumtree. Not so good for fixed gear but roadie bargains every few days.
