I bought a pair of Castelli Velocissimo a month ago.
At £75 I'd say they were mid-priced. They have Castellis new Kiss+ pad, which is basically a slightly thicker version of the highly regarded Kiss pad. The fit is great, and the thicker pad is in no way restrictive. I can highly recommend them, but must admitt that if I had'nt bought a pair of expensive road shoes a couple of months ago, I would have splashed out on some Assos.
