so it wasn't one big room that everyone was in?
my bad. that's hard work, it's nicer when everyone is all together and can dance or not dance with others who are dancing or not dancing while being in the same space as the person playing records.
i get slightly paranoid when playing records for anyone apart from myself, and need to see whether people are digging what i'm playing. not in a needy "worship me" way, but in a "have i got this right? do they like this?" kind of way.
