Went in last week. Nice store, nice guys.
Didn't see any women so can't comment on whether they know anything about bikes or not ;) -

does anyone know if 14 sells the charge plunger grips?
I've never seen anything from Charge in there, best bet is to PM Mikeymerk to be sure, but I don't think they do, there is a nice selection of bmx grips in there though.

-

not riding for 14, he's making the fgl 14bikeco trick frames
no charge plunger grips in the shop, but we got loads of other ones, inc soyo long grips and hella bmx ones, some NOS bartape... blah blah blah
frame+forks start at £450ish pounds w/ colombus zona tubing (whatever colour, geo etc)
go up to about £1500 with stainless steel/some curvy 953
but they are for ballers only ya knai think that was it? haha

Quick reply, cheers - that makes them cheaper than the Identiti Rebate Fork**s **by quite a few quid.

Called in at 14 while I was in the city this weekend. Amazing shop, totally amazing. Helpful knowledgeable staff and porn-worthy stock.
For whomever it concerns though - I had a hard time finding you! A map of your postcode gets you as close as Brick Lane, and there's no more specific maps on your website. I ending up asking someone wheeling a fixed conversion down the road where you were - not the best!

did i see something about 14 doing powdercoating?
if so, is it standard drop your bits off and then pick em up..
any idea on charges? -
• #796
Isn't 14's paint from Armourtex? Go straight to the source, good ppl Duncan and Steve..
-
• #797
ahh, fair enough.
makes sense.
cheers bud -
• #798
14 will get your stuff powdercoated for you, but have to take the stuff up there, so it costs you more. Go direct... Go back when you want shiny new parts, though

Just popped into Shop 14 to get some stuff. Must say that they were very helpful and informative despite my undoubted ignorance. A real pleasure and great service and they had everything I needed.
