I agree. There are far too many of them, and they leave very little room for vehicles to pass you on a bike. Maybe a Fiesta can, but a van or a bus? and they have "keep left" bollards which mean it's a 3 points offence to pass them on the other side, so motorists are legally forced to squeeze back in. Plus there are some roads where they are so densely spaced that every overtaking move becomes a wild and dangerous risk.
Toyota Piouses are almost always badly driven. the drivers are are slow, erratic and unobservant, so wrapped up in a cocoon of their own smug self-satisfaction that they forget to account for the real world. And quite a lot are registered as minicabs, which can only mean even worse driving.
