i have a speciliazed centrum sport and im sure they use the same frame
ive been light xc riding on mine lol (on the 1.5 nibus tyres haha) and ive had no problems and im not esactly light, bridle roads are fun, i wouldnt recomend you use it for xc though ( i dont ride it that hard as i dont want it to break, my only means of transport)
better of getting a cyclocross bike if you wanna have fun off road and not worry about things snaping
