if the numbers are different then you very unlikely to be able use them interchangeably .. take a look at http://www.vxb.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? this is for 6001 cartridges (the one i needed) 6001 is the standard code for the cartridge which is 12mm inner diameter x 28mm outer diameter x 8mm width (12x28x8) the bit after 6001 eg 6001-2RS denotes the number of seals i.e. 2RS = 2 rubber seals (finding all this shit out was a pain in the arse but i ended up with the right cartridge!) .. i am stoked with the ceramic hybrid cartridges i got .. i reckon its a very cost effective way to have hubs that perform as good/ better than top end hubs without the same cost .. re cup and cone i'm about to buy some new hubs and very tempted to go for cup and cone again and then just fit loose ceramic balls which are much cheaper than the cartidges .. i don't mind cleaning and repacking anyway and at least you can clean and repack with them
