yeah, I did look at the serial numbers.. I posted the thread at the stage that I had to accept they were different but wondered if ostensibly they were the same, i.e. if someone had put front ones in back or vice versa and had had no probs..
I'm not big on cartridge bearings, I imagine this kind of idea would be laughable to a cartridge bearings supremo but there you go, it was a layman's longshot..
