  • good selection of repro. vintage jerseys at cycles macarini (France) if you can't find/afford the real deal

  • Some affordable team jerseys here - France.

    ftw

this is not the view of fresh , any vintage lovers the world-over or the lfgss forum.
no statutory blah blah and not animals killed etc etc.

  • Given my age, can this count as vintage? :D

  • I'd say anything pre 90s is acceptable. But I'm not going to be a vintage nazi about it. As long as it looks good....which unfortunately rules that one out! ;)

  • Ouch! And I'd be riding YOUR back wheel as well! The cheek of it! Think I'm gonna turn up in it now just for that...

  • Just bought a great jersey from that french ebay site. Good find mr.dmczone! ... hope it gets here in time... (and it fits a giant!)

  • Out of curiosity, popped into urban outfitters to take a look at their vintage jerseys and,as Matt said they are rather obscure (not that I have a problem with obscurity), but they are also, well, not very exciting which is probably why they are now half the original price and in the sale section.

Wandering around the rest of the store I, rather bizarrely, came across a selection of rather fine Dutch/Belgian winter cycling caps - mostly large or medium £18 should anyone be interested. Could not resist getting this one:

  • Ah! That one. A fine example of the type of chapeau. I just can't seem to see which colour way you got. Could you enlighten me?

  • Cycling cap

  • Sorry mr huge, I'm crap at this sort of thing!

  • Sorry mr huge, I'm just crap at this sort of thing!

  • lovely cap FTW.

  • I should've included this link on my earlier post
    http://www.cycles-marcarini.com/mythiques-manches-courtes-0.htm

  • Popped in to Urban Outfitters. Some nice jerseys and hats. Not quite what I was after though.

  • Might come along, but my band are playing at the Constitution in Camden that night and I have no idea what time sound check is.

  • I am struggling to find a decent jersey - apart from fleabay (and urban outfitters) anywhere I can pick up a bargain?

  • 'Wow Retro' in Drury Lane has a small selection, mostly £15/£20; there are also a few in the branch off Long Acre.
