@dmczone - isnt that just an Claud butler olympic road racing frame with new dropouts welded on? the brake bridge looks different from usual, do you know anything about this frame? i am intrigued!

the person selling it is very legit. i was speaking to him earlier and he is the person i bought my eg bates vendomes from. he has a pretty nice collection of bicycles and frames in ireland.
i dont have any reason to think it looks odd. the dropouts look clean and straight and back and front clearances look consisitent with a frame built for use with mudguards. the wheels pictured are sprints.

the make of the frame is cougar and only branded colnago

That means it has a Cinelli BB shell. You can almost make out the maker's mark on the rear brake bridge, but if the guy says it's a Cougar I'd see no obvious reason to think he's bullshitting.
