Your restraint is commendable, but frankly a bit weird in my view. Someone deliberately hitting you with a car isn't a minor crime any more than someone deliberately hitting you with half a brick is. Damn glad you weren't hurt, though.

weird how come? i knew straight away there were camera's there, as i shouted at him and ran along to take his registration i knew all the deatils were taken on the camera, i even shouted 'hit and run' and pointed towards the camera as he took off to try and deter him, no physical violence though, if he was prepared to do that to me in a car maybe he would have jumped out and shanked me?,
i took a look at his face, he looked a bit gangsta, if he was in a suit or looked a bit more approachable (not that its easy to judge by appearance and seldomly do) i may have took action, but my head was saying 'dont respond like that whilst there are camera's around'

when i spoke to my gf when i got home (she's a crime soliictor) she said the worse thing you could have done was responded in a criminal manner as it might have affected things......always be cool!!!
