  • Well... something forumy... I wasn't paying attention and suddenly a blue and white bike zoomed past... lol

  • saw a hooch cycling this today...

btw. fixies are almost as common as taxi's these days....

hey thats my friend natalies bike, check out the wooden bars.

  • Yeah the wooden bars are nice...

You know what though, what I really hate, what I really really hate...

Why go to the trouble of getting painted rims if you're going to get one machined?

Ruins the aesthetic altogether for me I have to say :(

  • Someday I'll get spotted... someday when I have time to actually get on my bike and cycle it :(

  • Saw a courier on a red Bob Jackson about half an hour ago.

  • Black and red bob, guy looks like a punk?

  • Yeah think his name is ben or something

  • hey thats my friend natalies bike, check out the wooden bars.

saw her in rathmines... me likey!!

  • Saw a schnazzy black lo-pro with purple Deep-V on the back outside Trinity today, lush

Just saw the same bike an hour ago along Merrion Road at the US embassy. First time I've seen the point of lo-pros, tbh. Very nice indeed.

  • Ruins the aesthetic altogether for me I have to say :(

  • Lol, no problem with brakes, just don't see the point of ruining coloured rims with machined sidewalls, if you're going to run a break either stick with silver or go for an anodised rim...

  • agreed.

  • Yeah think his name is ben or something

Yeah it is, he is my brother

  • Lol, no problem with brakes, just don't see the point of ruining coloured rims with machined sidewalls, if you're going to run a break either stick with silver or go for an anodised rim...

    agreed.

What, three maybe four years ago, track bikes entered the hipster community masquerading as 'functional', there were solid reasons as to why bikes designed for track use made sense on the road. Its good to see that masquerade is dead, and that the actual reason is merely fashion (or lack thereof).

  • Ah I suppose so, personally I reckon it's a balance of form and function... Certain things just look better though don't you think?

  • Anyway I saw Scaryeire cruising around grand canal on his cool fixie topless.
    You passed the tricks twice.

  • cool fixie

Touche, but it clearly wasn't me.

  • No?
Black bike, frame looked like a fuji, green chrome bag...

  • I think there are now at least three people in Dublin that fit that description.

  • Oh right, news to me... hah

  • I was there and it was most defiantly you, unless you posted up pictures of someone else in the names to faces thread. Either that or you have an Doppelgänger.

  • Doppelgänger.

    Lucky guy! haha not.

  • now that I know who stevie is, I've spotted him or at least his bike a shit load about town

  • Clodagh on her lovely 1971 Ken Ryall she just got, say hello if you see her, it's a nice pale blue ;)
