You can get good hubs at IRO Cycles, which are on sale: US$ 40.00 (the pair) at this link:
http://www.irocycle.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=166 and they have them in Black or Silver and High/Low flange (32/36 holes). They ship to UK and may cost around US$ 23.00.
They have SS sealed bearings and are pretty decent according people on other forums.
