so what would i do for a headset? use the threadless one i would normally be using with that set up without the 1" quill stem? forgive my naivety but i'm new to 1/8th and threadless.
i understand so far to cut some steer tube from a 1" fork steer tube, but where does this go? am i tightening the quill stem onto that, and then inserting this whole thing into the headtube? then how does everything stay together? (i don't know how threadless 'technology' works)
