Currently rebuilding my winter/utility bike. As I have been breaking and buying bits over a period of time, its become a true mongrel.
Its now a alu cycloX frame with carbon cycloX fork, built up with Deore mtb groupset, including hubs (got lucky with the rear spacing), and Midge drop bars.
The geometry and balance look to be spot-on for winter riding.
Just need to finish doing the cables and gears. Man this has been a difficult build, might have to do something simplier like a fixed unicycle as my next build :)
