Nearly finished this one. It started out as an ebay purchase for a late 70s british track frame and some parts i had collected:
Then got it powdercoated and decaled based on what i thought it might be
And then after finally accepting that it was too small for me, i picked up a new frame again from ebay and transferred all the parts over
Already managed to swap the seatpost for the silver equivalent and now just need to grab a silver stem/handlebar and some nice low-profile wheels and it'll be done. Annoyingly most of my parts were silver but i decided to powdercoat them all for the last project in a moment of madness.
Does anyone know anything about simonelli frames? i've had a search about and there's only a couple of their bikes on velospace. it looks like the frames at the upper end of the mid-range frames, the tubing is columbus cromor and the lugs are pretty nice. The rest of the bike is:
goldtecs to deep-vs
nitto pearl/risers
thomson seatpost/concor profil
sugino rd crankset with a fyxomatosis chainring
