a gang load of forum heads (i think) at the pub opposite brockwell lido
We were sampling, ahem, 'recovery products' after the track day at HH. Were you one of the poor sods of which a skid was demanded as you rode by? :-)

Fleck, we wondered who the hell that was, was an awesome (and random) boost, though if i am honest only alby and overandout actually 'squeaked out' a skid.
It was me, overandout, alby, spins, cake, rennie, pinkgottimobs and possibly dave4 on our way for hyde park to windsor (with minor detours) - beutiful day, and an awesome ride.
Also, whoever alby and I just bombed up seven sisters road with, nice riding with you two, I love tanking it up to the park.
well it would have been rude not to squeak a wee one out, on such a sunny balmy afternoon. Cake was in on the action too

last night a hairy male pedestrian down Ridley rd market telling me to do a skid. who are you?
I did one, and it felt a bit odd, and the chain felt funny. This morning i found that i'd managed to crack the power link in half on one side... close shave.
Shall not be drunkenly responding to 'do a skid' geeers in the near future.
Sorry, I actually just remembered doing this when some 'do a skid'ed me on Kingsland Road a minute ago. I thought I'd come and check there hadn't been a serious mishap. If I hazily remember rightly it made an awful enough sound for me to immediately shout an apology. Well sorry again.
God though, cracking a chain link!

Just before 7 yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday) evening going up Kentish Town Road a dark Dolan with a white deep v on the rear - nice disregard for the lights and finger action at the motorist who cut you up on the junction with Prince of Wales Road.
I was the Genesis Flyer that came up behind you and followed up to the Highgate Road/Fortress Road junction then had to go up Highgate Road, but as I was heading up the start of Highgate Road you had your hands up in the air like you'd just won the Tour de France, not sure what was going on there?!

Clefty on the spok-bike, this morning, was late hence the caining it... every light still conspired to turn red just as I got to it... got to admit to a bit of RLJ, which I normall don't do (admit to it at least! :-)
Also Nat... or Nhat... Or NHatt!... Sorry I didn't wave: on borough high street I like to have both hands on the wheel for fear a pothole takes me out... Although the truth is probably that a sudden patch of flat there would cause such a surprise as to have the same effect!

Khornight being a gearenger at Stockwell, fuck it was wet!
-
• #15016
One of those days when I quite enjoyed it, once I'd got to a certain level of wetness it's not worth worrying about and I got to enjoy the relatively empty roads...
Not sure i'll enjoy putting my probably still wet clothing back on this evening though!

I would take empty roads, slick surface and soggy socks over sweaty numpty-dodging every day.
Loved this fair morn. Loved it!
