Not sure trackstanding is the key with a low gear start. If you get caught backfooted then the race will be lost before it starts. I reckon you'd be better with a switch standing start. Hyperventilate on the countdown, get your hands on the drops and then tuck after about 30m and do not change gear. The runners will have you on the first 50m but as soon as they are upright, you'll have the advantage. This is likely to be a very close finish.
