Guess it's just my eyes then. For some reason the top tube on Yorgo's looks bigger than the other. Hard to judge with dif pictures though.

I've been working on giving my guerciotti its gears back as I have now got 2 proper track frames to ride fixed. At the moment I just transfered all the geary bits from my entry-level Specialized, so it's not really spectacular but I just wanted to see if I liked the ride... and I do; it's a fantastic frameset (Guerciotti with crimped Columbus SL tubing with a Colnago master fork, bought for 60 euro).
Here's the before:
Here's the after...
The group on it is a bit shit (Sora/Tiagra triple/8 gear mashup with specialized branded sugino cranks and cheapo alex rims), the pedals are defo temporary (had nothing else lying around at the mo). Now I know I like the frameset and I can actually build up a geared bike (never done it before), i'm going to build it up with either 105 or Ultegra with a compact double and 10 gears. For wheels i'm going for open pro's (probably 36 spokes as I've got a brand new pair of those lying around) on ultegra hubs, radial in front, 3xcross in the back.
Dead puppy resuscitated...

@Mr Smith.... fuck!!! J-Just fucking fuck!
Upload a pic of it built-up, i beg you. Utterly stunning, and apparently purchased for relative peanuts!?In line with the geared builds that have been going on, i've finally decided on a frame for the components i've been hoarding recently.

@ Dayno (or anyone else who knows) what bb are you running to get a nice 42mm chainline?
I've been suffering a couple of millimetres-out for a couple of years now with my Super Mightys … but since I'm about to strip the frame in question for a nice Armoutrex session (once I sort out a colour at least) I reckon I should sort out a proper bb fit for the rebuild.
The glorious interweb suggested an 8mm ISO, but given how rainy and shitty London gets, I'd be keen on something sealed… Anyone? Ideas (or better yet solutions)?
Ta muchly!
i use a 107 and is perfect

The beast takes shape.... big question is.... black or silver seatpost & pedals... I have silver pedals & black Syncros post... but I think it should be the other way... wheels'll be black... and rasta tape.... following on from when she was a gearenger
Suntour Sprint cranks being mirrorpolished now, & black chainring.
Saddle: beaten up black(ish!) Flite Alpes or NOS Ritchey.... oh the pain of deciding....
what bike is/ was it originally?
