  • thanks Polybikeuser (adam) im really happy with the frame. i looked into those frame builders you told me about, but i think im gonna go for the Paul dropouts

  • Is the white low pro really a 65cm? That's huge!

    The white lo pro... Any ideas what standard frame size it is comparable too. I ride 59, am interested if you still have.

    Yes the seat-tube is really 65cm and it is big.

    This is real rule of thumb stuff, but to guesstimate a standard geometry equivalent size for the Low Pro, I put it on a set of wheels, 700c at the back, 650c at the front and lined it up alongside my (53cm) Soma Rush and measured how much longer the top of the seat-tube was, I reckon it was 6-7cm longer, so I'd say this was equivalent to conventional 60cm frame, so bigger than 59, but not a lot, the smaller front wheel really does play havoc with working out size equivalents. Hope this is of some help. :)

  • mind a pic of the last one with wheels on?

    Was good to meet you, sorry I wasso late, glad you like the frame.

    These are the Paragon Machine Works drop-outs I was talking about, though on reflection I have to admit they're not quite as alluring as the Paul track drop-outs;

    you can see more details herethey also do them with a bottle opener on one side, which is either pleasingly frivolous, or just a bit naff, depending on how your feeling and how urgently you need to open a bottle of beer. However you get it done, hope you enjoy the frame :)

    ye i saw the bottle opener ones, and thought that is actually quite cool. i will have to revise my decision as i forgot about them. available in titanium also, nice

  • is the bob weston taken? I need to do some measurements, but i think it's lovely, i'm very interested.. will pm you

  • If it was £175 then I'd snap it up.

    Will you take £180 for the last frame?(you thought it was a fixie inc bike)

    I want to shift these frames to make room for some new projects, so Strider, yeah I'll take £180 for the track frame, Alockett, come up another £10 and I'll sell the Low Pro to you for £185. I'll also accept the first offer for £180 that I receive for the Bob Weston.

  • ok, make that 180, on bob weston, if you've just read my pm and think i'm deliberately ignoring your most recent post!

  • Okay, that's the yellow and blue low-pro re-homed, looks like the Bob Weston is spoken for, to see the Carlton go, if anyone's interested I'll accept £35 for it. :)

  • I'm keen on that white low pro, size sounds like it could be good. Any chance i could come see? I'm E9

  • Me too Dave, just pm'd about it.

  • Can't pm polybikeuser, still officially in the nursery, but am serious if you want rid quick, i guess just post a response on here, and i'll keep checking
