i'll offer you a bump if i can hijack for a few seconds
at herne hill on friday i was accosted by a fellow forumenger who told me to take a quick look at my sugino 75 on the drive side where the crank arm joins the spider
he said he'd noticed a small crack appearing on his and when i looked at mine it to had a slight ( very slight crack )i was advised to file out a small section to stop the crack spreading
can anyone offer me any further info / advise / help as to whether this would be a good idea / bad idea

Try Condor for black 75s, dunno what current price is but they were cheaper than most for a while as they have have a commercial relationship with Sugino from all the co-branded stuff.

Don't forget you can get stung for the customs/duty when importing.
I've got a brand new set still in the cupboard.. at a price the forum cannot afford.

I just called them and Condor said their black Sugino 75 cranks in 165mm are £199.
Whoever got them for £145 recently got themselves a good deal.
They only have 170 in the shop, 165s should come in from the warehouse during the week. -
