so is it threaded a funny way? the BB shell I mean.
-
• #59
shell is normal british 68mm. to run bmx cranks you need the equivalent "euro BB", instead of an american/spanish (which utilise larger bearings and bigger shells) etc found on modern bmx's

right so I already knew, just wasn';t very clear on it.
Weird how BMXers have a 'side', yet bikes are ridden stright-on, rather than sideways like skateboards where it seem more obvious to have a preferred side.
Done any grinds on it Dale?
Look at your feet on a bike when you are freewheeling (if you have one)... you have a lead foot, like you do on a skateboard, and so, a "side". And although when you ride a bike it is ridden "straight on" when you aim for an obstacle you come from the side (ledge, rail). Hope that explains things..
Now, can a skater explain why a switch footed fakie nollie isnt just an ollie?

same as a snowboarder and surfers have sides yet they are travelling forward at times!!
also - when people start on the veledrome in certain events they have a side too - not that strange - and when you sprint you always put your strongest foot forward - a side..... i
You selling this for a Swagger?
