27 inch wheels matching front and rear. SOLD TO TEENSLAIN
New tyres, new inner tubes, new sprocket, new lockring, wheels appear to be newly built up*.
Hubs: High flange Bayliss Wiley front 32h rear 40h fixed / freewheel.
Chrome on flanges in VERY GOOD condition and no marks.
The axle centres appear to have been painted with silver paint. They look nice and clean and whoever did it, did a good job.
The bearings feel a bit rough however and could do with replacement and a regrease (not expensive to do).
Spacing: Front 100mm / Rear 115mm
Tyres: michelin world tour - unused brand new
Rims: unbranded steel in good condition. Some brake marks.
Sprocket/lockring: unbranded new.
Spokes: appear to be brand new. They could do with some re-tensioning as they feel a little soft to me.
*Info: I bought these recently off ebay. Advertised as "airlite" hubs, weinmann rims, newly built wheels, they seemed a good deal. But they're not airlite hubs (or seemingly weinmann rims), so I don't want them.
The seller will take them back but posting is a real hassle so thought i'd offer them here first.
If there's no interest i'll post them back to him next week.
Collection from Chancery Lane preferred although they are currently in Walthamstow.
