For Sale: Stuff! Nitto pearl, rear airlite, bars etc

Work is slow at the moment so its time to clear out the parts box:

1. Kronos handlebars - wide, flat road bars, good condition apart from r/h logo is scratched. 26mm clamp. £15
   
2. New cottered chainset - 170mm cranks 46t, ideal for budget old school build. £10 SOLD TO ELWIGLEENO
   
3. Rear large flange airlite hub - fix/fix 40h with damage to threads on one side, other perfect. Bearings are new but will require spacers/locknuts for 120mm spacing. Slightly tatty looking but perfectly usable. Pm offers
   
4. Nitto pearl stem - 110mm, non-njs 26mm clamp ex condition. £30 SOLD TO FUTUREAGENDA
   
5. SR stem - used and requires new nut for bar clamp. £5 SOLD TO ELWIGLEENO
   
6. Weinmann 750 centre pull brakes - inc levers, front cable hanger(not pictured) and brand new pads. ex condtion. £20 SOLD TO ASHTONM(pending payment)
   
   

I work during post office hours so its pickup in arsenal/local delivery/drinks only i'm afraid. Around on friday morning but gone all weekend. After thats its after 6pm for pickup or let me know and we'll meet in the middle etc.
If you want to come have a closer look at anything before committing then thats fine by me but a dibs is a dibs.

Will the brake calipers fit an old Peugeot frame? If you think they would I'd be in for them

Yep, they came off an 70's pug so no worries there. Only thing you may need will be a rear cable hanger if your frame doesn't have one. You can make one in about 10mins with a bit of thin alu and a pair of good scissors.

I have a sneaky suspicion as well that i'll need it again in a couple of months for another build. Such is life. I hate being self employed. grr....

edit: forgot to add, although it looks a bit like it in the pic there is no cable recess on the handlebars

Could I ask what's so great about buying a cottered chainset? It's just I got a couple and assumed nobody would want them.

Well if you're not into puppy killing it's the ideal choice for an old conversion. Can't think of anything more pengy than a sugino messenger chainset on an old english frame etc.
Anyway, whats not so great about them? used from the earliest days of cycling right up til not that long ago on the vast majority of bikes so wtf do you know? Been running cottered for ages and not had one single problem at all, it's cheap and works as well as most other chainsets so why not?

Besides its sold so nuff said.
