• Its ok i've worked it out I think....

man I want those wheels, but they wont fit the new bike so nevermind.

  • No way! You've sold the geek! Dale, who bought it?

Probably Pigfarmer, the geek shall inherit the earth

  • I swapped it for the Brooklyn.

  • I still don't get LHD. Why? Seriously, what's the point?

Does it have to have threads the other way around, so the cups are on the proper sides?

I know the people who know will probably ignore this, but could someone who knows a bit tell me what they know? Seems to make some sense if you are into chainring grinds and you're happier doing it one way not the other (I'm imagining based on my inability to skate both ways here, I know nothing of BMX)...

  • I still don't get LHD. Why? Seriously, what's the point?

Because he got them for FREE!!!
They're from my Race link hence LHD :)

But seriously...it's for the grinders out there!

  • right so I already knew, just wasn';t very clear on it.

Weird how BMXers have a 'side', yet bikes are ridden stright-on, rather than sideways like skateboards where it seem more obvious to have a preferred side.

Done any grinds on it Dale?

  • probably, so whoever has it, needs to give a damn good scrub down with rubber gloves and hot soapy water first

  • oooh trust you to lower the tone

  • can i take the bars and pedals if still available please?

  • the bars should stay with it, they suit it and match the forks superbly.

Ah but when you are freewheeling everyone has a preference as to which foot forward they like, also most people also have a preference as to which direction they like to spin, this all relates to your "side"

  • When you say euro bb, you mean italian threading?

Interested in the cranks, not bb though... unless it's english thread...

Euro BMX BB is English threaded.

  • Been thinking and shouldn't get it... more to the point can't pay for it till wednesday, so if someone else can, it's theirs...

If no one else does before wendesday it's quite likely...

  • Holy crap, just came on here and saw the frame :o man that was a good deal! its a beautiful frame!

  • Nice wheels, surprised no one has bought them yet.

In fact, I'd probably buy them and the cranks, if I had 350 smackers to spend.

  • What bars are they!? where did you get them?

  • they're made by some yank company.
    he got them from freshtripe.
I had a set too, but decided that the 2 geekhouses should look different.

  • any idea where i can get similar ones?

  • freshtripe ebay shop.

  • er...Freshtripe.

  • excuse me retardation :D
