Surely if the bearings are double sealed you just need some more sealed bearings?
Not sure quite what double sealed means in this instance, but when taking apart the hub last night it was just the usual arrangement of fitted rubber seal, locknut, compression washer and cone direct onto bearings in an open fronted ball race.
