to the normally vintage machine loving untrained to modern componentry eye it just looks like the difference is chain length, saddle, pedals and colour saturation of the photograph...sorry if i missed something

Both are running the bars both high and short, suggesting riders who can't get their bodies into the position these bikes were originally designed for. It's a characteristic of pro bikes generally that the bars are lower and further forward than recreational riders can cope with, thanks to thousands of hours in sadlle conferring the required flexibility. To be porn, a bike not only has to have the right bits attached to the right frame, it has to be set up in an aesthetically pleasing shape too.
