I have a rather nice road frame to build up, and it's the first one I've had that has straight forks with dropouts that point pretty much to the back of the bike.
The dropouts don't have the old 'lawyer's lips' on them either, and something makes me think that if I slam on the anchors a bit vigorously the wheel may be inclined to pop out.
Is this a realistic concern (I know on MTBs there was an issue with discs and regular dropouts)?
Will I explode or my flat burn down?
More importantly do any of you lot have a similar set up which is absolutely fine?
Ta.
