with some, you may need to install Microsoft Silverlight, but others will be fine as is.

Eurosport on the Mac works fine - even though the compatibility tests tell you it doesn't. The format is WMV -so you need Flip4Mac installed. This converts WMV to Quicktime. I set it up to just run in an external Quicktime window.

Cycling.tv also uses WMV, but is much more hit and miss than Europsort. With Eurosport your main problem is the usual overrun of the snooker or motor racing.

Failing that won't the mplayer/vlc plugin for firefox work?? I know it works on my old Sun Blade 100 (not that I regularly watch video on it).

i just pick one of the feeds from cyclingfans.com turn the commentary down and then have the eurosport commentary running from another tab.
there was a very high quality live feed available the other day (think it was american?) near tv quality.
no problems using a mac here.
