The reason fixed wheel bikes are so 'trendy' is that you, me, most of the other people on this forum and a hell of a lot more are riding them. Of course manufactures are going to start making cheapo/crap fixed wheel bikes if there is a demand for them. Its not their fault, its ours. If we think its a good thing to ride fixed why shouldn't every one else. Embrace the fact, don't rant against everyone else ruining it. The only reason I can see for anyone not liking this are people who are obsessed about being in the vanguard of cool - dare I say trendies/hipsters - who throw all their toys out of the pram because the lumpen proletariat are daring to join in on the fun.... rant ends[/quote]
